IEC USA Congratulates Bernie Consitt for 25 Years of Service
April 9, 2024 | IECEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Join us in celebrating Bernie Consitt's 25 years of service and camaraderie at IEC (International Electronic Components). Bernie has been instrumental in his role as Accounting Manager, helping to supervise, track, and evaluate day-to-day activities within the accounting team.
When asked about his experience at IEC, Bernie says, "For me, it's always been the leadership and support staff who make IEC a great place to work. I feel privileged to have worked at companies in my career where leadership was full of fine people. In the case of IEC, not only the employees, but the customers and suppliers too. It means a lot."
Bernie was born in Toronto, Canada, and moved to Midland, Ontario, in high school. After graduating, he worked for A&P Grocery (He good-naturedly jokes that A&P stands for Aches and Pains!). He moved quite a bit with A&P over about eight years.
This is when Bernie decided to go back to school. Bernie graduated from Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario, majoring in Computer Technology and Business Administration. Upon graduation, Bernie joined Bell Canada, then Ashland Oil, before working for Nordson Canada for 23 years as an accounting manager.
Bernie started working with IEC in September 1998 and has been a valuable team member ever since.
Shawn Stone, President of IEC, states, “Bernie is endeared to all who work with him, not only in our Accounting Team but all the other departments at IEC. With his mischievous, fun-loving grin, he has graced our lives for many years – and has become someone we greatly count on. We are both proud and privileged to have him as part of our team, and we celebrate him with tremendous affection and gratitude! Cheers, Bernie – we are so grateful to have you!”
Once again, please join us in congratulating Bernie Consitt on his 25 years of service at IEC!

The PCB Dinosaurs Get New Life at IPC APEX EXPO 2018
04/09/2018 | Dan Feinberg, FeinLine Associates, Inc.The Order of the PCB Dinosaurs (originally called the PWB Dinosaurs—the sign of a true dino) was born because of a comment almost 20 years ago by my good friend Bernie Kessler. Back in the day, when suppliers like us became IPC members, we could only be associate members; unlike fabricators, we could not serve on the board and we could not lead key committees.
